The Queen Star, Nay Maps has reportedly lost his father, Bishop Simeon Maphalala who passed away at the age of 59.
Nay is one of South Africa’s most-loved male actors. He plays the character of Dingane on Mzansi Magic’s hit telenovela, The Queen.
However, the sad news was made known on social media by entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela.
Phil took to Twitter to let his fans know that the actor has lost his father.
According to Phil, the Bishop passed away at the weekend.
He said; “RIP: Nay Maps’ father has died. #TheQueenMzansi star’s father Bishop Simeon Maphalala passed over the weekend. He was 59 years old. Condolences to Nay, his family and church’s congregation.”
