IllBliss aka Oga Boss aka Illygaty has officially dropped the art to his fourth album, Illygaty 7057. The album features the likes of Phyno, Vector, Reekado Banks, Koker, CDQ, Lola Rae, Mr. Eazi, Runtown , Ycee, Dremo, and others, with production by Kezy Klef, Sess, Del’ B, Tune X, Big Foot, Waz Beat and Tha Suspect. So you can see this is an all star featuring album.
IllBliss is one of the most respected MCs in the game having been in the Nigerian hip-hop scene for well over 15 years. Leading up to this album release, Illy also dropped three singles – ‘Nku’ featuring Flavour & Storm Rex, ‘Ayakata’ featuring Falz The Bahd Guy, and Jawonlaya. So far, all three singles have been very well received.
In a statement to the press, IllBliss is quoted as saying this about his upcoming album – “My new album “illygaty:7057” is a concise offering that’s meant to serve as a sort of prelude to what’s next for me as an artist and as a brand and what’s to come.”
Illy’s third album, #Powerful, was very well received by fans and critics. It was featured in our top 10 albums of 2015 after being tipped by many of our staff, and music head associates. Will his fourth album have a similar impact? We’ll have to wait & see
