Asisat Oshoala, a Super Falcons player, has presented a Barcelona jersey to Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi of the Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom in Lagos.
Oshoala who wears the number 20 jersey for Barcelona’s female team presented a copy of her shirt to the monarch during a visit to his palace.
Oba Elegushi took to Twitter with pictures from the visit and a note appreciating Oshoala for showcasing Nigeria to the world.
He tweeted: “It was a pleasure welcoming to my Palace, our soccer star and ambassador @AsisatOshoala. I am proud of your exploits and showing the world our story, the true Nigerian story of success through hard work. I look forward to supporting your other causes. Thank you for coming.”
