Money rituals which in our local language is referred to as ‘Sakawa’ of late have been the best option to go by in gaining wealth for oneself especially the youth.
Many are those who have gone to the dead-end to see the unseeable and felt the most dangerous and scary spiritual touch. They do this for the love of money and fame.

Last week on social media particularly on Twitter, out of nowhere came a new craze the gained wide attention, #Benin2020.
This #Benintrend influenced many celebrities to share funny videos of themselves, whilst others took it very seriously wanting to go and see for themselves what the Benin powers can do for their lives.
At present, the craze is gradually becoming unpopular. Well, that’s how social media works, nothing stays there for long.
But it can’t just die off without getting to know the near-death experience of a sakawa kingpin in Ghana specifically from Nima.
The Sakawa Kingpin narrating his adventure amid his quest to get money in a convo with Jeffery Nortey said he once travelled on a trip to Benin.
The main reason for him travelling was to dupe a foreign old lady big-time hence he needed a strong spiritual backing to get it done.

He revealed that he had to sleep in a closed coffin for a specific number of days as part of the strange rituals he was to observe in order to be able to dupe the client he was chatting with way back 2009.
According to him, he did a couple of the cruel things he did during his active years in the sakawa world.
He sometime during those days killed an old rich foreign lady who refused to give him money. Thank God he’s changed.
