New Ghanaian social media sensation and fast-rising rapper, Ay Poyoo has revealed the real reason why he opted to do music instead of becoming the doctor his mum wished for.
‘The Goat’ in an interview with the celebrated journalist, Deloris Frimpong-Manso Delay disclosed that from infancy his mother had wanted him to become a doctor in the future.
“From my childhood days, my mother always told me she wanted me to see me become a doctor in the future…” Poyoo said.
Her mother’s wish sounded right in his head growing up but along the line, something happened that informed his decision to let go of the ambition of becoming a doctor.
According to AY Poyoo, he one day stood in front of the mirror and realized that he’s very ugly, there began to wonder how he came to this world with such a wicked ugly face. His face can kill a dead person again.
After coming to terms with his appearance, he then decided to venture into full-time music because he can easily flow and do his best than becoming a doctor with that unattractive face.
“Imagine you go into a coma and then upon recovery, you, meet a doctor like me standing in front of you at the hospital, what will you do? I’m very sure you’ll die again out of shock,” AY Poyoo stated.
