Nana Agradaa while on Kwaku Manu’s Aggressive Interview Show explained that the genesis of her fetish powers came from her visit to Atwea Mountains and not Benin.
The fetish priestess expressed that unlike it has been rumoured all over, she was initiated into fetishism after she fasted and prayed for 21 days at the famous Atwea Mountains.
Nana Agradaa upon being asked why her ex-husband, who was also a fetish priest, suddenly lost his spiritual potency after their separation denied ever visiting Benin to destroy him as reputed.
Born Patricia Asieduaa, the priestess added that she was the brain behind her ex-husband’s prosperity and his fall came after they separated because he lost her good counsel.
She said, ” Before I began deity worship I fasted for 21 days and went to Atweaa Mountains to seek God’s guidance. I never went to Benin to destroy my husband. I have travelled to Benin with him in the past for festivals, but I never went there after we separated to destroy him.”
Agradaa added that she travels to Benin to get different kinds of deities to support her priestly work and not for money rituals or to destroy someone.
According to her, she would never credit her prosperity to her gods but to the Almighty God and added that she was serving God in her own way.
” I only use the gods I have for priestly work. Once I am out of the shrine, I am no longer in service to them. I become like any other person. God is behind my success and not any other gods” she said.
