The world lost hip hop icon Nipsey Hussle yesterday and Kendrick Lamar immediately paid his respects during a concert in Argentina.
The TDE rapper was about to perform Sunday evening when he got word of Nipsey’s death. He then looked out to the crowd and said:
“Before we got on this stage we got wind that our brother, our warrior, our soldier Nipsey Hussle passed away. So we want to take this time out, truly to give a moment of silence. Can we do that? Repeat after me, we love you Nipsey.”
The Victory Lap rapper was shot multiple times outside his The Marathon Clothing store yesterday resulting in his untimely death. Nipsey was respected by the music industry’s greatest artists such as Drake, Yo Gotti, Cardi B, NAV, Meek Mill, and others who have shown their support.
