For the first time someone has jumped to the defence of the man of the moment Kwame Fordjour popularly known as Dr UN after it was revealed that the awards he gave out weeks ago were fake.
Isaac Rockson who is the Communications Strategist and Partnership Commissioner at Rectitude International Mission has revealed that former UN secretary late Kofi Annan attended the first awards event organised by Dr UN in 2014.
Isaac who was a panellist on Nana Ama McBrown’s United Showbiz Show on Saturday, disclosed that he knows Dr UN personally and knows he had links with the late Kofi Annan.
“The late Kofi Annan attended Dr Kwame Fodjour’s first award ceremony in 2014. I escorted my boss at Unity Oil who won an award from Dr UN as far back as 2014/2015. Also, MP Fremah Opare and Eastern Regional Minister received awards that year. Dr UN’s intention was to have a link with the United Nations. Our company’s ‘Confederation of Governance Assessment Institute happened to have the same goal as him. I advised him to consult the United Nations about his awards and doing this in Ghana he has to consult the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well.” Isaac Rockson disclosed.
Dr. UN came under serious bashing after he awarded Sarkodie, D-Black, Captain Smart, Berla Mundi and other with a UN award.
The UN after days came out to state they knew nothing about the awards and have nothing doing with Dr UN who has also on the other hand stated that he had links with the late Kofi Annan.
Dr UN is set to drop a song and a video later today as he brace himself up for another awards show.
