Lerato Sengadi fights false allegations hurting her personality and all of her push towards the honour bestowed to HHP from SAMA25, by sending out an official statement on social media to clear doubts.
According Lerato, a man known as Mr Seabelo Modibe who was said to have merely handled the administrative duties of HHP while he was still alive, forged ahead to slander Lerato’s name publicly after South African Music Awards announced the honour of Lifetime Achievement that will be given to the late icon.
In a lengthy statement, Sengadi faslsified all of Mr Modibe claim about her and went on defending herself, that all she’s done is to keep alive HHP’s legacy and make him remembered despite he’s late.
“It is disturbing that Mr Modibe has decided to conduct a media tour to slander my name and contribution to this award…” Lerato said.
