The DJ was nominated alongside K.O, Ayra Star, Central Cee, Ella Mai, Tiakola, L7nnon, Stormzy, and Aya Nakamura for the Best International Act at the 2023 edition of the Black Entertainment Awards, BET.
Waffles’ loss excited some South Africans due to the fact that she represented her home country, Swaziland instead of SA.
However, the Tanzania hitmaker snubbed the criticisms and trolls as she enjoyed the experience and appreciated the support.
