Brazilian ace Neymar has told ESPN Brasil he is expecting the most important season of his career.
The 25 year-old heads into the 2017/18 campaign off the back of a somewhat disappointing year at Barcelona, whilst also looking for vengeance for Brazil’s humiliating exit from their home World Cup back in 2014, as he prepares to spearhead their attack at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Neymar recently signed a new five-year contract last October with Barcelona and is more than confident that he can handle the pressure which comes from the supporters of Barcelona and also the Brazilian national team.
Brazilian ace insists he is ready and excited for the challenges which lay ahead
“I hope it will be a season with a lot of success and a lot of happiness,” said Neymar.
“I’m getting ready for it [the season]. It’s going to be one of the most important seasons of my life. It will be the most important season of my life.
“So I’m really happy and really excited, and I’m going to start training and get prepared.”
