9ice’s second album effort in the music scene. The album which covered many themes including success, originality, partying and women, as well as themes on the institution of marriage and gratitude shot him to arguably the highlights of his diminishing career.
With hit songs like Gongo aso, party rider and street credibility featuring the legendary 2face Idibia, 9ice carted home many awards including the MTV MAMAs Award and the prestigious MOBO AND Kora Awards in 2008.
This is evidently why he promised us [and himself] a Grammy award.
Truth be told, 9ice’s music career is not moving in the most positive direction hence his futile attempt at politics talkless of a grammy but the saying remains:
