Ed the cop cat is keeping the streets of Australia safe
There is no doubt about who is the cutest police officer in Australia.
He may not catch many bad guys, but Ed the ginger cat definitely looks good in his uniform.
Specialising in ‘rodent control’, Ed has proved to be a valuable member of the team.
Ed spends most of his time sleeping in the stables of Sydney’s Mounted Police Force.
Sergeant Kylie Riddell told 702 ABC Sydney: ‘We have troop horses here so we thought why not have a troop cat?
‘He struts through, past all the constables while they’re being given their daily duties.
‘After that he patrols the stables while the grooms are mucking out. And usually after that, it’s nap time.’
