Freed abducted girl, Ese Oruru who has changed her name to Aisha Chuwas and claimed her lover never kidnapped her from Bayelsa to Kano, but voluntarily left with him and now wants to be a Muslim might just be lying about her age.
Her elder brother, Onome Oruru in an interview has disclosed he is 16 and wonders how Ese can be 17. She has however said she is in love and wants to remain with the Muslim man asking a human rights activist to tell her mom she won’t be returning home.
Her brother also revealed that the said man was one of the Aboki’s who used to fetch water for them in their compound and her sister would be the last person to convert to a Muslim because she participated strongly in her school’s Christian fellowship,
