The department of education in KwaZulu- Natal, a province of South Africa has suspended a male teacher recorded assaulting a high school student for reasons unknown.
The teacher was seen brutally flogging the schoolgirl at Mdlamfe High School, in a video which went viral on social media and sparked outrage.
