Russian leader Vladimir Putin is quietly building secret reinforced bunkers so that he and fellow leaders can survive a nuclear attack.
The bunkers – including reinforced structures around Moscow – are being built in anticipation of a coming nuclear war with the West, experts have claimed.
And Russia might shoot first.
‘Russia is getting ready for a big war which they assume will go nuclear, with them launching the first attacks,’ said Mark Schneider, a former Pentagon nuclear policy official in an interview with Washington Free Beacon.
‘We are not serious about preparing for a big war, much less a nuclear war.’
Both Russia and NATO are still in the position to unleash global-scale nuclear attacks – and the weapons are armed and ready.

The Arms Control Association says, ‘United States and Russia still deploy more than 1,500 strategic warheads on several hundred bombers and missiles – far more than necessary to deter nuclear attack – and they are modernizing their nuclear delivery systems.
‘If these weapons were used even in a “limited” way, the result would be catastrophic nuclear devastation.’
