On Wednesday afternoon, October 21, shopping malls inside Lekki phase 1 were looted by hoodlums after gunshots were fired at #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki tollgate on Tuesday, October 20.
The hoodlums reportedly started the looting at Trimart Supermarket before they moved to the Penny Mall on the same street to continue the looting.
Another set of hoodlums were also seen looting at two different malls including the Dew International Shopping complex in the next street.
A few moments later, police were called to the scene and shots were fired in the air to scare off the hoodlums, who took to their heels and abandoned their loot.
