Ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo has revealed that the case of coronavirus discovered in Lagos almost ruined his 83rd birthday ceremony as he had to adjust his birthday program because of the virus.
The former president added that world leaders who were earlier billed to speak at the event were unable to make it down because of the deadly disease.
Obasanjo made this disclosure at a symposium organised to celebrate his birthday in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
Guests were properly screened at the birthday venue before allowed entry.
