These two hunters (Amos Bitrus and
Danjuma Sale) were arrested around
Tungan-Baki area of Bauchi state on June
30th with 1 baboon, 3 patas monkeys, 1
porcupine, 2 warthogs, and 1 guinea fowl.
The arrested hunters/poachers also had
seven hunting dogs with them that
attempted to attack the rangers.
According to reports, Danjuma had been
previously arrested in Yankari so was
sentenced to two years in jail. As a first-time
