Police Minister Bheki Cele has refused to make comments concerning a report as regards a gun allegedly in connection with the murder of Orlando Pirates goalkeeper – Senzo Meyiwa.
According to sources, it was reported that the police have identified a man (who is currently in jail) accused of charges related to killing a Johannesburg taxi boss, with the same gun he used in killing Meyiwa.
“The gun found shouldn’t make news, it should finalise and resolve the case,” Cele said.
“I heard that it is leaked, how do you expect the minister to answer on leaked issues?
“I will leave them leaked. I will answer when I make statements and make an announcement.”
