Because of lack of education, our great and grandparents settled for local names of things, and some of us, have grown with the same mentality.
We don’t use the right names for some common things, we have around, and it seems some of us don’t really care to learn the correct names of these things.
English may not be our native tongue, but it’s is our general language of communication, so we must learn it.
More often than not, everyone calls it bathroom slippers, and only a few know that it’s wrong. The right name to call it is; Flip-flops. Please take correction.
