Katy Perry got stuck in mid air at her Tennesse Concert, held on October 18.
The singer was supposed to be lowered down on floating prop, but the stage set malfunctioned, left Katy hanging in the air.
The courageous 32-year-old told the eventgoers jokes instead of panicking and struggling to make her way down from the ‘sky’. This is the first time I’ve been stuck in space,” she joked.
“I know I’m kind of a space cadet, but actually, this thing is being stuck right now. What should I do? Should I tell some jokes, should I tell some stories, should I just sing another song? They’re talking to me in my ear, it’s a whole big deal. You better pick your phone up, ’cause this is a YouTube moment!” she continued her jokes.
The prop eventually functioned and lowered down the ‘I Kissed a Girl’ hitmaker, but she didn’t stop making her jokes. While being lowered to the ground, she jokenly said, “Actually, I do not want to smash you by sitting on you. Well, I guess I’m just gonna have to get down and walk amongst my people.”
