Early Life
Iba Jamal was born to the SALAU family on the 1st of JUNE 1984. He was given the birth name Yusuf by his parents.
He was bred in the mainland part of the city of Lagos. He is a Yoruba boy who hails from one of the southwest states.
He became interested in music as a teenager and started composing music lyrics to sing.
He sing mainly in his Yoruba dialect and pidgin. He always did freestyle sings in the presence of his mates in school and neighborhood.

Iba jamal obtained his First School Leaving Certificate from a public primary school in Lagos.
As an upcoming artist, Iba jamal often visited a studio close to his house to record singles. As his popularity as a singer grew, he started receiving invitations to perform at local shows and concerts in Lagos.
He came to the limelight in 2019 after he dropped the hit Baba , featuring Zinoleesky & Mohbad.
