Singer Zlatan Ibile and Mohbad appeared to be filming a music video when Sam Larry and his boys arrived to disrupt the shoot. As they attempted to attack Mohbad, the group was seen holding cutlasses and other lethal weapons.
Zlatan, on the other hand, saved the situation by asking Sam Larry and his boys to stop attacking and bullying Mohbad.
Following Mohbad’s death, Sam Larry, along with Naria Marley, faced backlash from fans and critics who accused him of killing Mohbad.

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested Balogun Eletu, aka Sam Larry, a controversial Lagos socialite, in connection with an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, Public Relations Officer for the Lagos State Police Command, confirmed the development to our correspondent over the phone late Thursday night.
“Yes, Balogun Eletu aka Sam Larry has been apprehended. “Right now, he is assisting with the ongoing investigation,” Hundeyin said. The police had previously summoned Sam Larry and singer Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley for questioning in connection with Mohbad’s death.

Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry, Naira Marley’s associate, is trending on social media after allegedly issuing a statement explaining what happened between him and Mohbad. Screenshots of a press statement allegedly issued by Sam Larry circulated on social media, causing a huge online uproar.
According to the statement, Sam Larry gave Mohbad N2 million two years ago to perform at his mother’s annual remembrance concert in Ikorodu, but when he challenged him about it, the singer claimed he wasn’t feeling well.
According to the note, Sam Larry requested a refund from Mohbad, but the singer claimed that he had lost his phone and money after the NDLEA raided where he was staying, leaving him penniless.
The statement also revealed that Sam Larry later learned that Mohbad was filming a music video near his home and went there to request his money, but an argument ensued and one of the singer’s friends promised that the money would be refunded.
In the statement, Sam Larry allegedly claimed that he later traveled to Kenya to find a new African musician to perform at his mother’s annual remembrance, and that he has been gone since August 20, even before Mohbad died.
