Actress Rae Dawn says she slept with singer Mick Jagger when she was 15 after he seduced her

Canadian-American actress, Rae Dawn has claimed she slept with English singer, Mick Jagger when she was underage.

The Color Purple star, 58, alleged that The Rolling Stones star, now 76, seduced her when she was just 15-years-old while he was still married to his first wife Bianca Jagger.

Speaking to Daily Mail, Rae said they met when they were both in New York in 1977, and they spent the night together, but Mick didn’t know how old she was and didn’t ask.

Rae said: “He wasn’t that much older than me in my brain. He was 33 and young and gorgeous with a nice body,” she told the outlet in an attempt to get ahead of the story.

“It wasn’t a bad thing; it was fabulous. Totally rock ‘n’ roll. He didn’t make me do anything I didn’t want to do, but he was very vain, always looking in the mirror.”

She also claimed that they spent another day together when they went back to the recording studio before seeing a Fleetwood Mac concert at Madison Square Garden.

Dawn insisted that the intimacy was consensual but was worried that the revelation would land Jagger in deep water at that time.

“He did nothing wrong,” said Dawn. “He didn’t make me do anything I didn’t want to do.”

“It was the 1970s, a different era. I wasn’t a victim. I don’t want him to get into trouble about this. It wasn’t traumatising. I knew what I was doing. I wasn’t an innocent schoolgirl. I always acted a lot older than I was. I was a grown-up at 15.”

In 1985, Rae even appeared in the video for his 1985 track Just Another Night.

Jagger was married to Bianca from 1971 until 1978. He is now in a long-term relationship with Melanie Hamrick, 33.
