We have chanced on a sad video of children in Accra defying lockdown order as they beg on the streets.
in the video when they were asked why they are outside, these boys said they don’t have a place to sleep and do not have food to eat so, therefore, they beg on the streets to get something.
when asked of their parents, these children claimed their parents are not from Accra, they came they to hustle and get some money.
these boys also disclosed that since they do not have any relatives there they sleeps at the sea side.
