Nigerian music stars Wizkid, Davido, Mr Eazi, Burna Boy are leading the race for ‘Artiste of the year’ award for the forthcoming Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2019 (VGMA).
The annual Ghana Music Awards sponsored by Vodafone revealed its list of nominees for the 2019 edition of the awards show.
The category for ‘African Artiste Of The Year’, Nigerian music stars dominated the list. The category had big names like Cassper Nyovest from South Africa, Sauti Soldiers from Kenya, Davido, Burna Boy, Wizkid and Mr Eazi all from Nigeria.
Last year, pop superstar Davido took home the award for African Artiste Of The Year at the VGMA 2018.
