Mzansi Magic’s drama series Gomora is coming to an end this year.
The news was confirmed by M-Net on the 11th of April.
“M-Net would like to announce that it will bid farewell to its beloved telenovela Mzansi Magic’s Gomora. The series will be discontinued in October 2023 as M-Net strives to keep up with of changing consumer viewership preferences.”
The premiere of Gomora season 4 will be on Monday, 24 April at 7.30pm and the final episode on Friday, 20 October 2023.
Shirley Adonisi, director of local entertainment channels at M-Net, said: “We are committed to bringing the best content to our viewers and, as such, we have to be responsive to their changing needs and preferences. That means that we have to bid farewell to beloved shows like Gomora, but we look forward to bringing you fresh, new and exciting content.”
“It’s been an incredible three years since Gomora first aired on Mzansi Magic,” Shirley said.
The series will be replaced with a new TV drama.
