Kennedy Ohene ‘Akompreko’ Agyapong is gradually getting back to his feet after he was struck down by the deadly novel COVID-19 some weeks ago.
The news about his contraction of the disease broke out right at the moment he had elapsed his 14 days mandatory quarantine and was recovering gradually.
In an interview he granted with Adom News‘ Alfred Amoh revealed that he contracted the deadly COVID-19 which nearly sent him to his early grave.
Kennedy Agyapong in his statement said he contracted the deadly disease after the celebration of his 60th birthday on Tuesday, June 16, 2020.
According to him, his slight careless exposure to some positive individuals at the celebration of his 60th birthday nearly cost him his life.
The lawmaker narrating his ordeal mentioned that COVID-19 is soo real that nobody must joke with else the worst could happen.
Now, the question that everybody is asking is why did he keep distant apart from revealing it to the media earlier when he contracted the virus.
The bothering question has been answered. Kennedy Agyapong has revealed why he didn’t make his COVID-19 status public till he recovered in his first interview after full recovery.
According to the Assin Central’s MP, he decided to keep his positive status from the media space because of some pastors.
Speaking on Asempa Fm, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong said he didn’t want the likes of Bishop Obinim and the ones he’s exposed to give any false prophecy on his positive status.
Adding that if he had made his positive status being public, Obinim would have bragged about being behind it so he decided to recover before letting the public know.
