Brenda Fassie could have been celebrating her 59th birthday today, 3 November 2023.
The music icon passed away in 2004 after suffering a severe asthma attack which triggered a fatal heart attack.
Brenda’s son, Bongani Fassie announced his mother’s birthday on social media and encouraged people to celebrate the legacy the singer left.

Taking to his Instagram account, Bongani said the legacy collaboration album to celebrate the life of the late star will be released soon.
