Nota Baloyi got brows raised after acknowledging Shimza as one of South Africa’s best DJs.
The DJ whose real name is Ashley Raphala took Baloyi to court a few months ago over defamation; despite the legal case against him, the critic didn’t stop trolling the DJ on social media.
Nota traveled out of SA and graced one of Ashley’s international tours.
The podcast presenter shared a video of Shimza which he recorded while being snubbed by the DJ, but Nota heaped praises of the DJ on Twitter.
“With the right management Shimza could be bigger than Black Coffee… He has more time on his hands though so he just needs to be patient, then take the opportunity with both hands when it presents itself. South Africa has the world’s best DJ’s last night was a great exhibition,” the presenter wrote.
The tweet garnered mixed reactions as people are fond to Baloyi’s negative tweets about Shimza.
