Popular Nigerian disc jockey turned singer, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, known as DJ Cuppy recently had an interview where she addressed the backlash she has been receiving from Nigerians on social media.
This is stemming from the release of her latest song, Gelato which was inspired from by the viral video of the disc jockey and her billionaire father, Femi Otedola, who both stopped at Italy to get an Ice cream, Gelato.
Gltrends recalls a video currently trending shows the moment popular indigenous rapper, Zlatan Ibile accidentally slapped DJ Cuppy’s butt.
The celebrity entertainer is also currently trending on Twitter.
Speaking partly in Pidgin English, she said:
“My brother, e no easy o. Na so dem dey use my name catch cruise up and down.
“Na so dem just dey carry Cuppy Cuppy Cuppy, but you know, for me, na music wey dey pull me through, wey dey help me,” she said.
The daughter of popular businessman said that she does not do music for anyone else but herself.
