Wizkid — will vie for the best African act category at the 2017 Mobo Awards.
Maleek Berry and Wizkid were each nominated in two categories; the latter for best male act and the former for best international act.
British grime MC Stormzy leads the pack after picking up five nominations. He is up for best male, best grime act, best album, best song and best video.
The 22nd anniversary of the MOBOs will be held in Leeds, UK, on November 29.
