Stonebwoy’s Putuu song is trash- Popular producer Riddim Boss

Popular producer, Riddim Boss, in a conversation with Andy Dosty on the Daybreak Hitz Show called Stonebwoy’s latest banger titled Putuu trash music.

A snippet of the song was initially released about two weeks ago by the renowned Dancehall artiste as a freestyle and made a serious buzz on social media.

Upon releasing the full song, fans were surprised by the fact that it was basically gibberish music and yet jammed to it because of the vibey melodies and flow on the song.

Considering the fact that Stonebwoy is one of the best lyricists in the country and in Africa, the ”Putuu” song has since its release been met with mixed reviews and comments.

Meanwhile, Riddim Boss, producer of hit song Body fi Body which features Patapaa and Shatta Wale, has called the song trash.

In a conversation with Andy Dosty on the Daybreak Hitz Show on Hitz Fm, the famous producer mentioned that he was anticipating a better piece from the CEO of the Burniton Music Group.

He added that the fact that ”Putuu” is currently Number 1 on the charts proves that music pundits in the country are hypocrites for critiquing other artistes like Patapaa who are known for gibberish music.

However, Mr. Logic who was not impressed with Riddim Boss’ assertion, explained that there was nothing wrong with Stonebwoy experimenting with other kinds of music- even gibberish music.

He said, ” Riddim Boss is my guy but he needs to learn something here about songs. We have mumble humming and gibberish songs. Gibberish songs automatically don’t make sense but they come with melodies. Such songs are allowed internationally and that is how come it is number one now.”

He sighted examples like Patapaa’s Scopatumana and Jamaica’s Papa Sam’s Maddy Maddy cry as examples of songs in that same category that made waves all over the world.

Mr Logic also named Hiphop group Migos as artistes who also do gibberish music.
