Thabo Bester’s mother, Maria Mabaso reveals that the convicted murderer and rapist was conceived through rape.
Recently speaking on o Eye Witness News (EWN), the mother talked about the upbringing of the “Facebook rap!st”.
Mabaso gave birth to Thabo at the age of 17; she further detailed the sexual assault ordeal that led to the existent of the murderer.
Maria said the hideous event took place on her way back from visiting her sister with her cousin.
They got a lift from a man who raped her.
“He nearly killed me… but luckily, I did not die,” she explained.
Mabaso raised Bester until he was one, thereafter, her mother requested to take him into her custody.
However, he doesn’t know his father.
Maria revealed what she might say to Thabo if she’s chanced to meet him.
“I will ask him why you do like that; you don’t think about us because when you do that you’re killing me. He’s killing me now this child. I’m scared for the tsotsis [criminals], I’m scared for Thabo. It’s my child, I like him I’ll never throw him away but what he was doing is wrong…”
