Social media has been buzzing with news of Dr Kwame Owusu Fordjour, aka Dr UN, who awarded prominent Ghanaians including Sarkodie, D black,Berla Mundi, DJ Black and more with fake UN-Kofi Annan Awards.
It has now emerged that Dr Fordjour is a con artist for 25 years with mental health issues. In 2004 he scammed SHS graduates in Kumasi with a promise to get them into KNUST.
Following this saga, RuffTown Records signee, Wendy shay has taken a bite as she reacts to the current trending story in the country, the fake UN awards.
Though Wendy shay did not mention or tag any celebrity/politician, her reaction was directed at those personalities who didn’t fact-check the award scheme before getting on board.
She quizzed on why none of the awardees did thorough research before running to take feeding bottles and papers as honorary awards?
According to the ‘Uber Driver’ hit-maker, Ghanaians are quick to receive awards even when they know perfectly well that they have not done any extraordinary duty to get such an honour.
