Talented Tanzanian songstress, Khadija Kopa ended last year with a feature on Bonge Lanyau‘s “Nipe Matamu” in November but she is blazing into the new year with a brand new song titled “Wigi Linawasha” and we love it.
This new song is not just Khadija Kopa‘s first song of the year, it is the first song she is releasing in a very long time and the first we are hearing from her since she joined Bonge Lanyau on “Nipe Matamu” in November which ironically was her only musical appearance last year.
But she looks set to change all that this year as she comes through with “Wigi Linawasha” this early into the new year and it can not be described as reaching too far to say that we expect even more songs from her this year.
Khadija Kopa is not a newbie in the industry having won the Best Female Award at the Tanzania Music Awards in 2012 and she has not looked back since, blessing us with songs like “Daktari”, “Full Stop”, “Aliepewa Kipaji” among others and as she releases this one, we have praises for it and recommend that you listen.
