The music producer is known to be an OG in the game and he’s helped nurture talents.
Phori has a music label named Blaqboy Music, and some of his signees include Daliwonga, Tyler ICU, Mawhoo and a few others.
Taking to Twitter, the music star expresses how heartbroken he is with new artists who get excited over hype.
“Hype kills to our new artist shame,” he wrote.
Some of his followers agreed with him and further explicated his claim.
“Nna ke re tiktok challenges killed that authentic yano…otherwise most of the shit we have now is rolled out to trend ku tiktok nje…ke hoopla that tender love type of yano,” a tweep wrote.
