Classixx’ Faraway Reach album, released in June, was a welcomed foray into brightly lit dance music that may have the effect of lowering your body temperature by a few degrees.
The synths used throughout feel like cold steel which is perfect for the heatwave we’re experiencing in New York. But they turned the temperature right back up with the remix of “Whatever I Want” by Nigeria’s Young Jonn The Wicked Producer.
The talented artist has already worked with Wizkid, Olamide, and others. For this remix, Young Jonn speeds up the tempo and represents the strong percussion culture of Africa. T-Pain’s vocals are mostly untouched yet feel just at home as they did on the original. We can definitely see this remix being added to DJ playlists around the world.
