Henrikh Mkhitaryan has finally found his feet at Old Trafford, only for the Armenian international star to have his legs taken out from underneath him against Tottenham.
The match against Spurs started so brilliantly for Mkhitaryan, as he blasted the Red Devils in front with his first Premier League goal.
After scoring against Zorya in the Europa League on Thursday night, it finally seemed that Mkhitaryan’s Old Trafford career was up and running.
But with less than 10 minutes remaining in the contest, Mkhitaryan was hit with another major setback.
Injured & stretchered off
Mkhitaryan was taken down after Spurs left-back Danny Rose caught the Man United playmaker with a tackle from behind.
Mkhitaryan instantly fell to the ground, and he needed the help of medics and a stretcher to exit the Old Trafford pitch.
At the time of writing it’s unclear how long he’ll be out for, but it’s fair to say Man United fans are worried.
