Headquarters 7 Division Nigerian Army Maimalari Cantonment Maiduguri will be conducting Independence Day Flag March and Show of Force parade in Maiduguri metropolis on Sunday 1st October 2016 to commemorate Nigeria’s 56th Independence Day Celebration.
The Flag March and Show of Force will kick – start by 0730am from Maiduguri International Airport and terminate at Murtala Mohammed Square, featuring personnel from all the security agencies in the state.
Also, activities lined up to commemorate the National Day will include handing over of certain categories of detainees that have been cleared to His Excellency the Executive Governor of Borno State Alhaji Kashim Shettima who is amongst the dignitaries that will grace the occasion at Murtala Mohammed Square Maiduguri.
The general public are hereby enjoined to be in celebration mood and go about their normal businesses without any form of fear.
