A pregnant woman is convinced she has seen a picture of her late nan in her baby scan.
Emily Beckett’s grandmother Elizabeth ‘Jean’ Booth died in 2014 after a sudden cancer diagnosis.
The 23-year-old was told by a midwife during her 10-week scan that there was a picture in the image and, on closer inspection, Emily and her family believe it is their nan.
Both Emily and sister Gemma, 26, attend Liverpool’s Spiritualist Church and have shown one of its psychic medium’s who is equally convinced that their nan has paid them a visit.
Emily told the Liverpool Echo: ‘It was a complete shock, when the nurse said she could see another face I just presumed she was talking about the baby.

‘My nan was like a parent to myself and my sister Gemma so I’m not surprised she has decided to make an appearance – she wouldn’t have wanted to miss out on my pregnancy.
‘She was always talking about her grandchildren and great grandchildren so it’s nice for us to know she can be part of this with us, it is a gift really.’
