Ibrahim Adam Mailafiya was killed by suspected armed robbers in Kano state last week. Ibrahim had just returned to Nigeria from the UK where he just bagged a PhD from the University of Leeds. His friend and Facebook user, Adekunle Al MiftauAdeite who shared the sad story online wrote “Ibrahim Adam Mailafiya, with a brand new Ph.D. from the University of Leeds, but robbers cut his life short on the way to Kano! May his soul rest in peace.” May his soul rest in peace, Amen.
