A memorandum which has been shared to lecturers of Nigeria’s foremost university, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, states that the
lecturers will be denied their promotion if students are dissatisfied with their qualities.
According to the memorandum signed by the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the school, lecturers whose teaching score falls below
50% (to be determined by student’s evaluation), will be denied their promotion, no matter how well he/she performs in other criteria.
