The management of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has reacted to the death of 5 prospective corps members killed today in ghastly motor accident along Abaji/Kwali Expressway.
Earlier, Vanguard had reported how some corps members travelling to Katsina NYSC Orientation Camp from the capital city of Akwa-Ibom, Uyo, died while several others badly injured.
Reacting, the scheme described the loss as “Black Wednesday for the NYSC Family” while commiserating with the families of the deceased souls, praying God grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The Director-General and Management also condole with the Governments and people of Akwa-Ibom and Imo States over the tragic incident that has left the scheme devastated.
