Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and wife, Mary are reported to be in police custody in Malawi.
Few days ago, the couple left Mzansi in shock after the news of their escape to the prophet’s home country got confirmed.
The Malawian pastor and wife are charged with fraud and money laundering. They also risk forfeiting their multi-million-rand property if they do not return to SA.
After their escape, it was reported that the South African authorities issued arrest warrant of the couple.
They forfeited their R5.5m property, also took out R400 000 as they were released on R200 000 bail each.
However, on Wednesday morning, it was reported that the two got arrested in their home in Malawi.
