DJ Maphorisa calls out Shimza on Twitter over playing Amapiano in his sets.
Shimza won the hearts of South Africans during lockdown with his set, and also by organizing shows for his audience.
The two DJs have no beef record, but Lawd Phori is interested in having Shimza play amapiano songs in his set.
“Can we ask Shimza to start playing Amapiano on his sets please, i wanna see something,” the piano hitmaker tweeted.
However, Maphorisa got dragged for calling out Shimza for such.
Most comments spoke about how not everyone is a fan of amapiano genre, and Maphorisa responded some of the critics.
“Amapiano is not for everyone I understand sharp, but why are u dancing to it when u drunk?” he tweeted to all critics.
