A female suspect has been arrested by the Osun State Police Command after being found to be in possession of a dry human hand.
The suspect was arrested at Centre Area in Ikire at about 10:40 a.m on Monday February 17.
Osun State Police spokesperson, who confirmed the arrest said the Police Intelligence Unit acted on a tip-off and found the human part concealed in a bag. She revealed that the state Commissioner of Police (CP), Mr Johnson Kokumo, has directed thorough investigation into the matter and warned against dealings in human parts.
The suspect would be charged to court after the conclusion of investigation.
