A Hit and run driver has been arrested by men of the Lagos state police command after residents of Lagos state who witnessed the accident, gave chase and supplied his information to the police.
RRS commandant, DCP Tunji Disu, who shared the video of the state residents while they trailed the hit-and-run driver, wrote
this video clip was sent to me by a courageous lady.The lady and other occupants of her car witnessed an incident of hit and run.They gave a short pursuit and got us useful information to work on,may God bless you 4 d effort.
Giving an update, DCP Tunji wrote
Suspect arrested, vehicle found hidden at Gbagada,Dpo of jurisdictions confirmed he rescued the victim with multiple fractures to the General hospital.Suspect would be handed over to the Division
