Opinions on Twitter useem to be divided after a video of Dino Melaye paying a woman to fry and share bean cake (akara) to voters surfaced.
Eyewitnesses revealed that the woman was frying akara near a voting area when she was approached by Kogi lawmaker who was recently sacked by a Court of Appeal.
However while some Twitter users defended Dino Melaye saying it was a humanitarian act, others are claiming that the lawmaker who is contesting in today’s Senatorial Election for Kogi West Senatorial district was inducing voters with the act.
